What software do I need to use digital scrapbooking kits?

For Kits (Papers & Elements): Our kits primarily consist of high-quality JPG (papers) and PNG (elements with transparent backgrounds) files.

• Compatibility: These are universal image formats. You can use them in almost any program that allows you to insert images, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or Canva.

• Best Results: For true digital scrapbooking, we recommend dedicated graphics software that supports "Layers."

For Templates (Layered Files): If you are purchasing Templates, you need software that can open .PSD (Photoshop) or .TIFF files and manage layers. Most of our Page templates do include PNG files as a courtesy, but you will need to stack them manually if your software cannot manage files with layers.

Recommended Software:

• Adobe: Photoshop (CC) or Photoshop Elements (PSE) - The industry standard.

• Serif: Affinity Photo (Desktop & iPad).

• Corel: PaintShop Pro.

• Free Options: GIMP.

• Mobile/Tablet: Procreate, ArtStudio Pro, or the Affinity app.

Note: Specialized scrapbooking software like Artisan or My Memories Suite can also import our JPG/PNG content easily.
